If anyone thinks Chanukkah ending this week means I’ll slow my daily inhalation of fried potatoes and chocolatey breads, well, they can pry the latkes from my greasy hands. For me, the remainder of my December weekends are for spreading that holiday spirit via simple carbohydrates. There are two small issues: I don’t bake, and I don’t live close to family. That’s why I’m obsessed withGoldbelly. Goldbelly is a platform that allows small businesses, big food institutions, mom and pop restaurants, and individual cooks and bakers to sell and distribute their goods. I’ll be sending outJake Cohen’s birthday cake babka, these blue and white cookies, and thisgorgeous Italian cookie traywhich, to Theresa Giudice’s delight, features plenty of pignoli cookies.—Amanda Duberman, News Director Who Should Probably Wear A Glucose Monitor All December |

I'm not going to lie and say I've already done this... BUT since I am about to put in a reservation and secure my spot, I thought this would be a good time to share. It's a bit NYC niche, so if you're not local, don't gettoojealous, butLittle Charli'shas a pizza-making class, and I've heard rave reviews. The restaurant is situated on Bleeker St. (which as we know is a prime location) and has the cutest ~Italian vibes~ you've ever seen.\xa0 \xa0 Now for the good part: THE FOOD, duh. Five-course pizza-making class with beer and wine included? Can It get any better? You literally cook alongside Little Charli’s chef (shoutout Chef Salvatore Olivella), and can even book a private event with your friends and family. For someone who is always looking to do something other than be sardined in a crowded bar, this is at the top of my list.—Alex Teri,Integrated Marketing Manager, Self-appointed Italian Food Connoisseur. |

As a lifelong Barbra Streisand fan, I was thrilled when she announced earlier this year that her long-awaited memoir,My Name Is Barbra, would finally be released in November. But when the 970-page tome arrived on my desk last month, I was intimidated. Would I really have the wherewithal to get through something that’s 200 pages longer than the longestHarry Potterbook? Well, I did, and I can honestly say thatMy Name Is Barbrais unlike any book I’ve read before. \xa0 It’s both meticulously thorough and effortlessly conversational, and if you’re a big Barbra fan or just a lover of celeb stories from decades past, there is so much material to feast on. I especially loved reading about Streisand’s many notable relationships, from a flirtationship with Marlon Brando to her IRLGolden Bachelorlove story with her husband James Brolin. 1000 pages about Barbra Streisand might not be on everyone’s holiday reading list, but if you’re interested, it’s well worth the commitment. —Dylan Hafer, Director of Entertainment Content and Hollywood Gossip Addict |

It’s cold, it’s dark, it’s…the most wonderful time of the year (or so we’re told). And while it’s a little too easy to just stay at home and not go anywhere for—give or take—4 months, it’s time to alert the group chat and go on a fun, festive ~adventure~. Enter your weekend plans:the Astra Lumina light showat the Queens Botanical Garden. Grab your coat (and scarf and gloves and beanie), and take a walk under the *stars* that feels like you’re part of a Disney movie. There’s ambient music, ~magical~ smokeshows, and lights galore. Sip on a warm bevvy, stroll through the gardens, and get your cameras ready (there are plenty of photo opps, don’t worry). I promise, it’s *actually* worth leaving your couch for.—Aleeza Zinn, Content Manager, Entertainment, Back On The Couch Post-Light Show |

When it comes to vitamins and supplements, I’ll try just about anything. A couple months ago, my husband randomlypurchased something from Amazon(which is usually my main role in our marriage, but go off husband) called “CALM” and tbh I was sold just on the name alone since I’m naturally a high-strung person who needs any sort of calmness in my life that I can get. Turns out it was a magnesium supplement. I tried it before bed, and who knows if it was placebo effect or not, but I fell into a deep slumber where I was able to stay asleep the entire night (which is no easy feat - my fellow 30 year olds know). Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on all things magnesium for relaxation and stress-relief. My two favorites are the good ol’ Calm one referenced in this story, but I’ve also been lovingthe JS Health onesrecently too. Since I have to go all in on my hyperfixations, I even havea lotion from Alo with magnesiumin it that I basically bathe in before I go to bed, and it helps my whole body fall into a deep sleep, which I plan on doing for the rest of the year until 2024.—Nicole Pellegrino, Director of TikTok Content & Strategy and Wannabe Wellness Expert |
