Concealed Carry: Retention and Point Shooting |
Most defensive engagements are up close and personal. When you’re at ‘bad breath’ distance, there’s no time to acquire a perfect sight picture, shooting stance, and grip. When you’re on the defensive, you’re already behind in the reactionary gap. You must learn to quickly engage a threat from close distances. This means shooting from retention and point shooting. Instincts may take over, but you must be well-practiced. This must be ingrained in your muscle memory. Are you ready? |

United States v. Rahimi: Restraining Orders v. Second Amendment |
The case of\xa0United States v. Rahimi\xa0could rightly be called the case of Restraining Orders v. Second Amendment. The Decision and Dissent (8-1) totals over 100 pages, and little of it is easy to completely understand. It certainly was not a win for the Second Amendment. Most important was Justice Thomas dissent, in which he outlines the dangers to the Second Amendment in future decisions. |
