GLOCK 49: Not Just ‘Another’ GLOCK Pistol |
It isn’t difficult to work up enthusiasm for a GLOCK pistol, or to enjoy firing it, but making the report interesting is a challenge. All GLOCK pistols are much the same. “If the pistol were not reliable, it would not be a GLOCK.” The author does not say that lightly. There were no surprises when testing the GLOCK 49, save that it handled better than anticipated for several good reasons. |

Review: Taurus TH10 — The Latest 10mm Double/Single Action |
The author is predicting this year will become the year of the 10mm. Why? To fill the gap left by the .40 S&W, which has basically been abandoned. Springfield introduced a 10mm version of the XDm in 2018. Last year, S&W came out with a 10mm version of its M&P full-size pistol. Now, Taurus has joined the ranks with a 10mm version of its TH hammer-fired line. Who will be next? |

Safety Recall Notice Regarding Tisas 1911 Pistols |
Tisas USA has recently learned of a potential safety issue with certain Tisas USA 1911 pistols. Tisas USA is voluntarily initiating a recall of these pistols to protect the safety of its customers due to the possibility of the hammer following the slide forward when chambering a round. While the chance of this occurring is extremely remote, and Tisas is not aware of any injuries that have occurred because of this condition, Tisas USA is immediately implementing this recall of Tisas USA 1911 pistols. |

It is no secret that polymer-frame, striker-fired pistols dominate today’s market. This dominance isn’t completely based on affordability — performance matters. There are cheap polymer-frame guns, and pricey polymer-frame pistols. However, most are considered affordable.\xa0Read on to see which guns made the list. Will your favorite be there? |

What Are Your Firearm Goals for 2024? |
As we’re getting into the new year, I think it’s a good time to brainstorm and reflect on our firearm goals. It’s important to keep putting effort into ourselves and what we find important, to move forward toward our goals. Whether it’s getting that new gun you’ve been saving for, increasing your doomsday ammo stockpile, or refreshing your tactical training, we should all create a plan for the year ahead. |

To Crimp or Not to Crimp — That Is the Question |
Recently, a student asked me about crimping handgun cartridges.\xa0The author quickly realized that answering random questions would not work and decided to start at the beginning to make everything — as to the how and why — logical and understandable. Admittedly, one area that most shooters could use a better understanding of is the subject of crimps. So, let’s get the hate mail. |
