Pick of the Day: 1975 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus

In the history of\xa0long-lived vehicle models, the Volkswagen Bus deserves to win some sort of award. Production initially started in November 1949, and it continues even today (75 years later!) in the form of the Volkswagen Transport “T6” (sold in select markets around the world). From the 1960s until the 1980s, the “Type 2” was the version of Bus that started becoming a familiar sight.

Pick of the Day: 1978 Ford Bronco

The Bronco name is\xa0synonymous with utilitarian, go-anywhere capability. The latest (and greatest?) version came out in 2021 and boasts an impressive resume: A Bronco “Raptor” comes with LED lighting, a FOX-equipped suspension, 37-inch tires, and a 418-horsepower V6. The big catch is that it will set you back \\$96,000.
Maybe a classic Bronco is a better alternative. It offers a lot more exclusivity at a fraction of the price tag. Let’s look at a nicely restored example from the late 1970s.

Pick of the Day: 1966 AMC Marlin

Pity poor American Motors!\xa0Tried to compete with GM, Ford, and Chrysler toe to toe yet is often remembered for its failures more than its successes! On the other hand, sales figures alone are not a good way to judge a product. Our\xa0Pick of the Day\xa0is one of those loser AMCs that may simply need another glance to realize how the company from Kenosha was heading to the top of its game: this\xa01966 Marlin. It is listed for sale on\xa0ClassicCars.com\xa0by a dealership in Celina, Ohio.
