We Microwave Fish!
We’re so proud of being microwaved-fish advocates,we made a tote bag about it. We’ve done a lot of research on how to steam fish beautifully in the microwave, and it’s definitely become our favorite method. The secret? Reducing the power level! A gentler steam helps retain the natural nutrients in fish, including vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acids. More tips for microwaving fish: Frozen Fish:If cooking fish from frozen, increase the Power Level by +3 and use the same cooking time. \xa0 Thickness Matter:Fish can vary greatly in thickness which will affect the cook time. If your filet is thin, reduce the cooking time by half and adjust from there. More Power:You can cook the fish at full power for faster results, but some loud popping sounds may occur.
Use The Right Dish:We recommend using an Anyday Shallow Dish for cooking fish. If using an Anyday Deep Dish, you may need to add more cooking time.
