Since Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry two years ago, it hasn't seemed like much progress has been made on turning it into the entertainment venue they'd originally imagined — mostly because Davidson and Jost keep saying they've made basically no progress. As Davidson said onSNL: “Colin called me, and he’s like, ‘Hey, can you hop on this call about the ferry?’ I was like, ‘We’re still doing that thing?’” Curious if they were, in fact, just letting this giant boat sit and rot, Curbed’s Adriane Quinlan decided to do some digging around. She quickly found plans for the boat on the website of architect Ron Castellano, who just finished the new downtown hotel Nine Orchard. So she called him up and found out that, actually, things are moving apace.
