friend, For the past 2 years my family has had 2 missionaries serving missions for our church. I loved being a part of watching how the Lord helped my children grow and become better people as they chose to spend two years serving and teaching people about the reality of our Savior.
\xa0 In the last email home, Cash, my oldest son, sent his final message as a missionary. \xa0I wanted to share it. \xa0I have thought so much about it and felt it was very suitable for a Christmas message. \xa0 “I'm so grateful for the knowledge I’ve grown of my Savior. It really is the most important thing that I know. I really do know that my Savior Lives! He is alive and well! Something that I've learned more than anything else is that God strengthens us as we are available to Him. The more availability we show to God the more our capability to do hard things grows! I always wondered, before my mission, why God didn't talk to me or help me out more intimately, and I've come to know that it's because I never gave him the time of day. I was never available for Him or anything He wanted for me. So I was incapable of doing a lot. \xa0I've now spent 2 years 100% available to God, His plan for myself and others. God is continuing to make me capable of unimaginable growth! It's so stinkin cool!” \xa0 That’s my Christmas message, and my goal for 2024----to make myself more available to the Lord. God can work \xa0miracles in our lives as we become available to Him. This Christmas season as we make Christ the focus, and we celebrate His birth----find ways to become more available to Him and carry that with you throughout the year! \xa0 I love my Savior. I am so grateful to have my entire family home together again. \xa0I am grateful to spend time together as a family of 10 this Christmas season. Thank you all for loving me and loving Halftee! We have been tremendously blessed with wonderful women who love our product and our company. May each of you have a wonderful Christmas Season and may 2024 be a year of availability to Christ and growth through Him.\xa0 |
