Today, we need to update you on our shipping schedule, which we had hoped to initiate in June for our Indiegogo backers. We've encountered a few challenges in the final stages of production preparation, leading to necessary adjustments.\xa0
As we continue refining the Vega and navigating the inherent uncertainties in production and certification processes, we aim to provide a realistic outlook without committing to a specific date.
We are making steady progress and are nearing the final stages before production can fully commence. Based on our current rate of advancement and the tasks remaining, we anticipate that shipping will begin within the next few months. This window allows us to account for the final adjustments to the product and completion of necessary certifications.
Our team is small and multitasks extensively, and our initial timeline did not leave much room for unforeseen challenges. Despite these constraints, we've made significant progress.
Challenges with the Water Tank
We've encountered an issue with the water tank involving shrinkage post-molding. (In plain English, this means that after the water tank was formed using a molding process, it shrank slightly as it cooled down. This shrinkage is a common issue in manufacturing where the size of the molded part reduces from its intended dimensions, which can affect how well the part fits and functions in the final product.)\xa0
This has required additional adjustments to ensure the final product meets our standards for quality and durability - adjustments that now are finished.
The good news is that the tooling for the water tank is now complete, marking the readiness of all tools for our plastic parts. We are genuinely pleased with the final form of the tank and believe you will be impressed with the outcome once you get your hands on it and see it with your own eyes!

Mass production is set to begin shortly. We are currently making some final changes to the springs and holders attached to the side hatch. Following these adjustments, we will proceed with calibration of the sensors and obtaining FCC, CE, and UKCA certifications for our products to ensure compliance and safety before shipping. In parallell, we will finalize the app, the packaging and the user guide.
Shipping and Distribution
Once production ramps up and certifications are complete, shipping will commence. Please note that some regions will receive their products sooner than others as we optimize our distribution channels.
