One thing that has kept us sticking to a low carb, keto diet* for so long is having all our favorite snacks around the house. These are the 5 items we always have in stock...\t- Nuts- Usually almonds, peanuts, walnuts and macadamia nuts. While these are a calorie dense snack, they do a great job of keeping us full and energized so we aren't looking for more snacks in 10 minutes.
\t- Hilo Life Ranch Tortilla Style Chips- These are our favorite tortilla style chips while following the keto diet*. They pack tons of flavor and crunch into each bite, with 9g of protein* and just 3g of net carbs* per serving.
\t- Berries- Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries are always a favorite at our house, especially when they are in season.
\t- Chocolate- Generally, the darker the chocolate the less carbs it will have. Chocolate pairs well with peanut butter if you’re looking for a keto friendly sweet treat.
\t- Pork Rinds/Beef Jerky- High in protein and extremely low in carbs if you find options without added sugar.
\xa0 Some people try to cut snacking out completely when starting a keto diet. While that is a great option, many people find success by replacing their high carb snacks with keto friendly alternatives. If you're struggling give these snacks a try... especially Hilo Life!
Hilo Life Ranch Tortilla Style Chips have become a staple in our snack drawer. They are the only keto friendly* snack that provides the crunch and flavor of some of our favorite childhood snacks.\xa0We make sure we never run out of them at our house. They are available in four delicious flavors – Ranch, Nacho Cheese, Ultimate Taco and Spicy Salsa.\xa0 \xa0\xa0\xa0Thanks, Matt & Megha
