Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to The Ultimate Test experience competition run by Ocean Florida, part of the Ocean Holidays Group.
By claiming the prize, entrants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms, and agree to be bound by them.
Only one application per person is eligible.
Entries are only open to UK residents only. Applications will close at midnight on 31st December 2023.
You must be aged between 25-60 for your application to be valid for submission.
Employees of the Ocean Holidays Group and any affiliated partners may not enter the competition.
The winners must provide proof of identity upon request.
You are not eligible to apply if you have any previous unresolved criminal convictions.
You must have a full UK driving licence to be eligible to apply for this competition.
You must be eligible to fly and have a UK passport.
You must be valid for an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) visa to enter the USA as a visitor. Therefore, if you have travelled to the following countries on or after March 2011, you will not be eligible:
Iran
Iraq
Libya
North Korea
Somalia
Sudan
Syria
Cuba
Yemen
You must not have been refused an ESTA waiver at any time previous to entering this competition.
The shortlisted applicants will be selected by the matchmaker for second-stage video submissions by Friday 5th of January 2024, and must be completed by the provided deadline for continual running in the competition.
The dates of the holiday will be between Monday 12th February 2024 and Tuesday 20th February 2024 (Landing back in the UK on the 21st Feburary 2024) and you must be able to take the holiday at these given times.
The dates provided to take the holiday cannot be amended or altered. If you cannot make these dates or aren’t fit to fly, you relinquish your right as a winner and to the prize.
You are solely responsible for arranging your transfers to and from Heathrow airport before and after the experience. Ocean Florida will offer transport options for both parties whilst in Orlando, but will not be responsible for any transportation costs to and from London Heathrow Airport.
Ocean Florida is not responsible for reimbursement or amendment of the prize if you are unable to make either your outbound or inbound flight, including any unforeseen circumstances outside of the control of Ocean Florida.
Food and drink will be provided by both Ocean Florida and other package partners involved in the experience package. Ocean Florida will offer up to the value of \\$300 per day for food & drink, and any other additional expenses. The winner has 2 days to confirm any dietary requirements after receiving notice of winning the prize.
Ocean Florida agrees to organise travel insurance for the winner. The winner has 2 days to confirm any specific travel requirements which may impact the insurance selected.
You must be single to take part in this competition. If it is found that there was a false claim made to the status of your relationship, Ocean Florida reserves the right to remove you from the competition effective immediately.
The winner will have the opportunity to see media footage of their chosen partner for the experience and raise any concerns or questions within 48 hours of this being delivered to them.
The prize is for the winners of this competition only and cannot be transferred or resold. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other holiday prize.
The winners will be notified by email via the account provided at the point of entry and will have 2 days from notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not claim their prize within this timeframe the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and will award the prize to a reserve drawn at the same time as the original.
If you are the winner and accept the prize, you will take part in and cooperate fully with reasonable publicity and to the use of your name, photograph and any comments in such publicity without any fee being payable. This includes but is not limited to, taking a video diary while on your experience, post-prize interviews and sharing your story with the media.
If you are the winner and accept the prize, you agree to Ocean Florida using any video content shared as part of the holiday and or application process for global marketing purposes. Including but not limited to social media, the Ocean Florida website and press materials.
If you are the winner and accept the prize, you must be willing to take part in each booked activity within the itinerary, unless you have ill health or unforeseen circumstances which no longer allow you to take part.
By entering the prize, each entrant grants Ocean Florida a worldwide non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish or display (in whole or part) any intellectual property contained in the content of their entry without royalty, payment or any other compensation.
The winner who has been paired with a match is responsible for communicating at least 10 days before the departure date of the holiday if they would no longer like to participate and will therefore relinquish any rights to the prize.
Ocean Florida is not responsible or liable for any physical or mental harm that may occur during the holiday experience or thereafter. By applying to win this competition you agree to take responsibility for any risks associated and do so at your own will.
Ocean Florida does not take responsibility for the condition of any restaurants, experiences, accommodation or theme parks taken. The experience is fulfilled by the provider of the experience, and not Ocean Florida. Every effort has been made by Ocean Florida to monitor the service and facilities of the parks that are included in the experience.
Activity participation is subject to change depending on weather conditions on the day. Ocean Florida is not responsible for changes in the itinerary due to weather conditions.
Ocean Florida will not be held accountable for any costs, losses, damages and expenses which the winner may incur concerning the competition or as a result of any misrepresentation of the prize.
Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England.
Ocean Florida reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any point.
