Imagine being a 10-year-old baseball fan that ends up on an official Topps trading card. This dream became reality for Rowan Watkins of Jackson, Mississippi. The youngster won the 2023 “Become a Big Leaguer” promotion. Watkins’ card had a print run of 1,000 and was inserted into the recently released 2024 Topps Big League. Another lucky young collector will have their own Topps card in 2025 Topps Big League. Look for a “2025 Big Leaguers Redemption” card inserted one per hobby box of this year’s Big League product. Parents, pull a redemption and get your kid signed up for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! |
The last timeTOPPS NOW®produced UFC cards,Conor McGregorhad become the first competitor to hold UFC championships in two different weight classes. The year was 2016. McGregor is scheduled in June to have his first fight in nearly three years, and TOPPS NOW® is back to document the Irishman’s return. Fresh off a deal to produce cards, TOPPS NOW® was all about covering UFC 300 on April 13. Max Holloway won the BMF belt via knockout and was rewarded with a sweet card. Numbered relics featured the actual fight-used mat from the event in Las Vegas. UFC fans, watch for future TOPPS NOW® cards during the next big matches in the Octagon.\xa0 |
One of the big prospects to chase in this year’s Topps Black Chrome product is New York Yankees sluggerJasson Dominguez. A pair of Dominguez’s Superfractors surfaced last week when the product was released on April 17. Dominguez’sIvory autograph insertsurfaced in a Hobby Legends break; Dominguez’sbase rookie design variation1-of-1 was pulled during a Fanatics Live break by Valor SportsCards. As a September call-up last season, Dominguez made a splash in his first week-plus at the MLB level. However, a torn ACL ended his season abruptly after hitting four home runs in his first eight big league games. Once the 21-year-old is healthy and back on the diamond this season, watch out. He’ll return to his swinging ways in no time.\xa0 |
