First released last year, the Bombdeux are our favorite take on the 21st century jean. A do anything, go anywhere and last forever pant that is both lighter and tougher than denim. The Deux cut has a relaxed DGAF vibe. The initial versions were intentionally compact for a slightly cropped vibe that leans into the dad cut energy, and that cut is still available now as theBombdeux Compacts. TheBombdeux Standardshave a bit more inseam to work for a wider range of body types and cover a bit more ankle but both keep that boxy, calm, ready for the world energy to them. For those who are straight ready to tumble though we’ve gone a step further too, with a whole set of pigment tumbled experiments expected late next week.Experiment 421 - Bombdeux Tumblepig Standardsare all about getting nasty with the pigment with seven different stochastic color combinations. BlackBombdeux Standardsare machine tumbled with white pigment to create the high contrast Whiteblack and deeply subtle Doubleblack. NavyBombdeux Standardsgo even harder, sprayed with black creates a richly deep Blacknavy, sprayed with white they enter denim tones with Whitenavy but it’s the sulphur yellow sprayed one that’s strictly for the hardcore creating the radioactive Sulphurnavy. If you really want to double down on the subtlety though it’s the Grayzone that truly shines. Sprayed with black pigment creates the inverted feel of the Blackgray while spraying with white creates the plaster dusted cool of Whitegray. Expected Thursday, February 29th, Leap Year Day 2024.\xa0
