Injected Linenis perhaps our most unique and exclusive fabric. A blend of the ancient and industrial; \xa0it uses a warp knit - weft insertion technique to create an optimal balance between lightweight breathability and solidly wearable opacity. We’re fairly certain we are the only brand in the world using this technology to make clothing and the result is a fabric so light and breezy that pants feel like shorts and shorts feel like air. \xa0Back in 2016 when theInjected Linen Pantsfirst launched they felt positively loose. The cut hasn’t changed but culture has, and these days they feel like a relatively slim cut, with just a little bit of breathing room so you can move freely in them. Wear them hemmed just right for crisp dressed up linen vibe or cuffed and maybe sized up for that beachcomber vacation vibe. One of our favorite aspects of theInjected Linenis that “hollywood wrinkle” it gives. Linen of course is pretty much impossible to keep pressed, it’s best worn with a rakish rumple. The trick though is keeping it in that zone, you don’t want to look like a crumpled paper ball, you want to look like a movie actor trying to stay low key on vacation. TheInjected Linenuses linen in the weft insertion and uses knit columns of much thinner polyester in the warp direction. This is how it gets its legendary opaque breathability, but it’s also why it’s so good at keeping the wrinkles in the sweet zone. It gets wavy but it almost never breaks. Finally being Outlier of course we’ve got some new material experiments in the works. We’re starting the season off withLinenfoil, a lightweight weave that’s 60% linen, 30% viscose and 10% polyester and 100% that Hollywood wrinkle. It even comes with a dialed in crunch on the roll. It only weighs 110gsm so it makes for a great hot weather shirt.
