SN Clarence W. King, 69, U.S. Navy, born in Alabama December 17, 1947, passed away from Agent Orange-related health complications on November 14, 2017. During his three tours in Vietnam, King was a Signalman aboard the USS Towers (DDG-9). He helped transmit, receive, encode, and decode messages between Naval vessels via flags and Morse code. After the military, King worked as a carpenter. He loved woodworking and, after retiring, enjoyed making toys and trinkets for friends and loved ones. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate!
