NOBILIS ‘FRESCO’

Fresco is a dazzling jacquard that stands out due to its luxurious multicoloured and iridescent patina. The TOI team couldn’t wait to find the perfect opportunity to use this eye catching fabric - this Edwardian farmhouse situated in Cheshire provided the ideal fit! Fresco’s opulent colours brought a touch of timeless elegance, whilst simultaneously adding a bright and playful twist to this traditional property. This one of a kind fabric helped us create the sophisticated and welcoming ambience that our client was seeking to create.

COLEFAX AND FOWLER ‘WILDE’

For those of you who have taken a visit to our showroom in Berkhamsted may recognise this one! The stylish animal spot enhanced by a horizontal stripe ground effect adds an interesting contrast - we’re not surprised that so many of you ask where this beautiful fabric is from! Thankfully, there is a wide spectrum of colours to broaden the opportunity to use this charming upholstery fabric, with more informal pink, and old blue, while russet, chocolate and forest green bring contemporary glamour.

PIERRE FREY ‘PARADISO’ AND NOBILIS ‘EXTRAVAGANZA’

We introduced this superb graphic and colourful embroidery on linen fabric by Pierre Frey to our playful award winning reception area, and it was the perfect match! The geometric shapes that intermingle evoke a joyful universe that compliment the electric blue panelled walls beautifully. Another fabric available to purchase on the Tobias Oliver Interiors website is this chic golden fabric that our design team used as a window treatment in our luxury farm house project. It’s camouflage drawn by a skilful play of cut-outs combines brutalism and couture look - this fabric really does deserve its name…’Extravaganza’! The colour range goes from precious shades through to bold and exuberant colours, so head over to our website to explore the ‘Extravaganza’!

EVITAVONNI ‘CRAWFORD’

The ‘Crawford’ is the epitome of glamour! It features a tone on tone and metallic plaited cloqué design. Woven with a blend of wool, silk and metallic yarns the diagonal interlock texture of ‘Crawford’ makes a truly wonderful cushion - take a look at our portfolio on our website to see how we used ‘Crawford’ in the shade Midnight in an office space at the Wiggington Country House project. A tip from TOI, ‘Crawford’ in all four shades would create the most eye-catching curtains!

NOBILIS ‘YOTIS’ AND ‘OIA’

You can probably tell how much we adore the ‘Yotis’ fabric by Nobilis, which we used for both the curtain and cushion fabrics in a luxury farm house project in Berkhamsted! ‘Yotis’ combines embroidered knots on refined linen ground, along with delicate sheer jacquards, coordinated with mat and subtly gleaming upholstery weaves - truly the perfect fit for this eccentric yet sophisticated living space. Our clients gave us full reign to get as creative as possible, which brings us to the bespoke octagonal ottoman, upholstered in ‘Oia’. Stripes and dots respond to each other in colour on this fabric, which is thick in quality for upholstery, inspired by Provence and its ochre and blue shades. We styled ‘Oia’ with a Samual & Sons bullion fringe - we hope this provides some inspiration on how to style these beautiful fabrics!

PIERRE FREY ‘OBERNAI’, CHASE ERWIN ‘EMBRACE’ AND NOBILIS ‘CLEO’

This Pierre Frey jacquard tapestry seen on the bar stools and cushions really is something special…it is based on the repetition of a detail of an old 17th century tapestry from the Pierre Frey archives. It evokes an abstract landscape sublimated by time, thanks to its worn weaving effect. To us, it was reminiscent of the beautiful rolling countryside in the surrounding areas of this luxury farm house in Berkhamsted. ‘Cleo’, by Nobilis, which we used for the fixed back cushion of the sofa is inspired by the world of fashion; it reminded us of a luxe Chanel tweed suit jacket, so it really added a sense of sophistication to this orangery. This perfectly contrasts ‘Embrace’ by Chase Erwin, a green bouclé fabric upholstered on to the seat cushions of this bespoke low profile sofa. This clever blend of high quality luxury fabrics transformed a simplistic orangery into an opulent home bar.
