Most people think that leap years are every four years but this is not actually correct. You canimpressannoy your friends by telling them, if the year is divisible by four it is a leap yearunlessit is divisible by 100. Centurial years are only leap years if they are divisible by 400. So 1900 was not a leap year but 2000 was, and this means the next skipped leap year will be 2100.
