The leaves are falling! We probably have 200 giant trees on our property so wish us luck! But aside from the anxiety fallen leaves give my husband, I love the changing of seasons we get to experience here.\xa0\xa0

Growing up in California I experienced hot, and hotter, with a few weeks of rain throughout the year. I'm glad our kids get to grow up and watch trees bloom, get big and green, leaves fall, be branches only, and the process starts all over again.
I often find myself smiling as I watch the kids play "find the frogs" or "who can collect more worms" in the backyard while leaves fall slowly in the background. There is something so peaceful about it, not to mention beautiful.
Aside from that, today was a rainy day so unfortunately, Emerson's last baseball game of the season got canceled (boo!) but I'm so proud of all he accomplished in his first season at bat!
As someone who lived and breathed softball growing up, it is a special thing to watch out kiddos "walk in my cleats" lol.

Emma has a few more games before her season wraps up, so we are looking forward to that and some rest before fall ball signups roll around.
Wishing you all coziness and beautiful sights in whatever way the seasons come on in your neck of the woods!
